Roving Magazine: “The Magic of Weaving”

I published an article in entitle “The Magic of Weaving in issue 1 of Roving Magazine about the first year of my weaving journey. The article delves into how I have used my weaving and spinning to heal from the loss of my mother and learn to live again. Making Things App Blog: “Knitting is our Love Language”

Ani Lee referenced my work in her article on “Knitting as a Love Language” on the Making Things App Blog in December 2018. In the article, she references my work as an example of an artist that honors the legacy of their loved ones with their fiber art. I particularly like her idea of fiber art as a devotional practice to loved ones. I think of a lot of my weaving as sacred, so the concept of tapestries having a devotional quality is particularly interesting to me.
